It’s with a heavy heart that I have to tell you we’re canceling our Spring UK / EU tour. We’ve been planning this tour for nearly 2 years, pushed it back several times, and then finally thought we’d arrived at the point where it seemed like it had the best chance of happening.
But there are still many factors that make an undertaking like this really tricky to pull off. .
An overseas tour is a costly undertaking for US bands in ordinary times, and piling the obstacles of a pandemic on top of that puts us in a really vulnerable position. A single positive case among our traveling party could put the entire tour in jeopardy and have very real financial ramifications.
Despite my hesitations about touring in this climate, I was really looking forward to these shows. We haven’t been overseas in years, and have had all these songs sitting in captivity waiting to come alive. We’re going to work on booking a future tour and will let you know once we make new plans. In the meantime, refunds are available at the point of purchase.

Tidigare i år släppte Brooklynbandet The Antlers sitt första album på sju år, Green to Gold, som togs emot av hyllningar från en enad kritikerkår. Idag släpper gruppen en EP – Losing Light – med nya versioner av låtar från albumet.
The Antlers började sin resa som ett projekt i Peter Silbermans sovrum i Brooklyn. Det som började som ett lo-fi-projekt blev snart någonting större än så. Fler medlemmar kom med 2007 då Silberman påbörjat arbetet på albumet ”Hospice”. Innan dess hade han själv-släppt ”Uprooted”, ”The February Tape” och ”In The Attic of the Universe”, varav flera inte tog längre än en vecka att spela in. ”Hospice” släpptes 2009 och har sedan dess blivit en älskad kultklassiker. Därefter har det blivit ytterligare tre giv som alla har byggt på det som Silberman startade i sitt sovrum på bästa sätt. Missa inte när bandet gör sina första spelningar i Sverige sedan 2014.
